Not much to say with the 1998 issues of Mixx Zine. Just a lot of b-boyz publishing a manga mag towards girls. When going over this issue, I think this August 1998 Animerica is the most formative issue to date. The '90s was full of hot pink, black, blue and purple, gradients and starburts. Tokyopop/MixxZine was the epitome of this look.
