I like the retail ads in this issue. HAMS in Westfield, IN has a ad selling anime 20% off. That’s quite the statement given that most mail order and retailers back then sold at full SRP (Suggested Retail Price)
The Tokyo Television Report has three articles about new anime shows set to air in Japan. Macross Seven, Tenchi Muyo! TV series and Blue Seed. Sadly only 2 of the 3 have been released in North America. Curses no Macross in the states!

According to the VHS review at T.H.E.M. Anime Reviews, “Homeroom Affairs” is more ecchi comedy than hentai. Their ad does compete with US Manga Corps with the level of copy. Egads! According to Anime News Network, this was Star Anime Enterprises only licensed title.
A.D. Vision’s SoftCel Pictures presents F3: Frantic, Frustrated and Female, Legend of Lyon: Flare 1&2 and they shift Guy Double Target to the SoftCel label.
Worst/Best copy for this SoftCel ad comes from F3: “The animated video that give a whole new meaning to the phrase “Coming Soon”
