The first major video retail store ad goes to Palmer Video. I did some research and Palmer Video was a New York, New Jersey video store with 44 stores according to some deep Google searching. I appreciate that this retailer fully embraced anime and has in their ad “We offer an extensive selection of new and catalog releases of Japanese animation”
I had no idea VIZ did a “100% Made-in-America Sequel” for Macross II.
Additional video game advertising with Sega CD’s Key Flying Squadron.
More A.D. Vision love for Go Nagai with Kekko Kamen “Fighting for Justice, Freedom, and the Naken Truth”Just read the rest of the ad. Lots of cheesy copy that I can help but groan in appreciation of bad puns. Also, A.D. Vision announces they’ve moved to a new building.
