“Keiichi!”
“Belldandy!”
“Keiichi!”
“Belldandy!”
This is what I remember of “Ah! My Goddess” from watching the series around ’96 when my sister was my roommate my last year in college. Hastings had an anime section call “Anime” not the Blockbuster “Japanimation” monicker.
I have the OVA series that Animeigo re-release several years ago – I need to watch it again. Good times.
Also, I’ve always wondered what made Guyver cool in the 90s so much that I still see it reference a lot today. The Max Factory figure kits are pretty cool. Again, I need to see the original Guyver as well.
Next…OH JOY!! ADV Innuendo!!!!!!
BURN UP!
“Meet Maki. She’s young, attractive, and a certified expert on Munitions, Marksmanship, and Motorcycles…
She specializes in Men, too,
Dead or Alive”
Tagline: “They didn’t just attend the Police Academy… They burned it to the ground!”
A Pioneer add with out Tenchi?!? Yes, they do exist!
“Finally, Anime the way you want it. Only on Laserdisc, only from Pioneer”
Moldiver was a 6 episode OVA – each episode was a release – each release was $34.98.
Early adopters always pay more, no matter the type of technology or format. Anime at this time is not the exception, it was the norm.
